The #GlobalPOV Project combines critical social theory, improvised art and digital media to explore innovative ways of thinking about poverty, inequality and undertaking poverty action. Developed at the University of California, Berkeley, the project continues at the UCLA Luskin Institute on Inequality and Democracy, as an effort to transform undergraduate education and participate in public debate about wealth, privilege, and power, and the effects on constructions of welfare and equality.
